Unfortunately we were there during the annual flower festival. That was HORRENDOUS! The activities and stage were about 200m away from the hotel. "Have stayed here many times. Always consistent. The restaurant is good and the staff is very friendly. Ask for Jose. David has limited restaurants that may appeal to American tastes. If you are visiting I suggest you try Boquete where you will be pleased. If spending a few nights in David then Alcala is certainly acceptable. I have lived here for 4 years so I have a little experience in these things."
