"Very nice and clean place. The included breakfast was excellent—fresh and delicious every day. I understand that AC may not be necessary in the rooms, but they should at least provide a fan. We left the window slightly open, but it wasn't enough—I was sweating at night. The blankets they provide are also quite warm. The view from my room was incredibly beautiful. I would recommend Magma Hotel to any friends or family visiting Iceland. "

"The property was in the middle of nowhere but still easy to find, especially in the dark. I switched to this place at the last minute and we were mostly glad we did. The staff was wonderful and the homemade bread and jam was fabulous. Our bathroom sink and tub were not draining very well so we had to be careful about that. The room walls are VERY thin so the noise from the other people were a bit disturbing. From the pictures we thought we would have a separate cabin but ours ending up...

"This is a magical place. It is hard to get to, especially during a snowstorm, so be aware. Make sure to get an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. Other than that, communication with the staff/property manager/owner was great and they are very helpful. We had a great time!"
