"The reception was very good and helpful, the restaurant food was amazing and the staff very attentive, the room however although looked good there was a large amount of cobwebs, in the bathroom area and a number of flys on and around the bath, the tiles had a large amount of water marks and the taps and shower had water marks and scale. The standard double was two beds put together so a very uncomfortable night sleep as well kept going down the dip in the middle"

"I can honestly say we have never experienced a warmer welcome anywhere we have stayed, and we travel a lot. The staff were so helpful and seemed genuinely interested in their guests. "The hotel is pristine and beautiful. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. However, our room was absolutely freezing. The radiator in room 1 was horrible. During the day when I took a nap before a 4 hour tasting menu, I had to sleep fully clothed with my wool scarf/hat and coat on. It was incredibly frustrating but a staff member bled our radiator so it was warmer when we got back to the hotel around midnight. My friends enjoyed the breakfast. "

"Stayed here a few times in different rooms. This one was different again. Set up in a type of annex little cottage external at the side of the hotel. Didn’t know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Lovey warm and spacious double room and on suite. Like a little one bed cottage. Road noise wasn’t too bad seeming the lane was close to the main road. Warm and secure all amenities there. Nice little hotel and always happy here. Breakfast had changed to between 0730-0830. Very short time frame....

The roast beef is one of the best I've had 👌 The only issue we had was our family room (number 18) was situated directly above the reception area and very near the room where the pool table is. We had a young child with us and the pool room was very noisy late into the night which affected our sleep. Staff should take this into consideration if a family with young children are...

"Ideal location for town centre. Parking very limited but plenty of parking near by. Rooms were clean and tidy with everything you needed. Had to pre order breakfast including drinks when we got there which wasn’t a problem but found it odd that we even had to preorder the drinks! Our room was on top of the lounge are so could clearly hear the music, which again wasn’t a huge issue for us but might have been for some. Overall though, a lovely little B&B perfect for what we wanted. Would stay...

"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"
