"Very warm and friendly welcome. Check in was very easy. Room was very clean, comfortable, and warm. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very, very good - highly recommend their fish dishes. This is a gem of a hotel and we will definitely stay here again. Very convenient to Donegal airport (Carrickfinn). Compliments to all the staff members we interacted with - very professional and friendly."

"The Viking House is not the Four Seasons or the Ritz. What it is though is a clean, quiet, cozy and humble hotel set in some of the most beautiful surroundings you can imagine. The rooms are small and the beds are soft and if you want to cool your room down, open the window and allow the fresh sea air to blow in. "Great location only a couple of minutes from the centre of town and with the lovely River Walk only a short walk away. I had a large room, nicely furnished and with a good bed and a great powerful shower. Spotlessly clean and with a warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Recommended."
