"At first sight we were a little skeptical about staying as the front entrance was blocked off and we had to enter from the back later to find out why. The front entrance walkway was cleaned up and had a sealant applied that was still drying. The room was nice. Breakfast was good. The stay was pleasant. The property needs a little TLC. But overall it was fine. "

"The gentleman working the counter when we arrived was prompt and kind. Our room was large and clean w plenty of storage. If the bathroom had been vacuumed to remove hairs on the floor and had the drywall repairs by the shower completed it would have been the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed at in awhile. We travel a lot for soccer so that says something. Dogs are allowed to stay here so if you’re allergic you may need a different location. All and all we slept great, ate a breakfast w many...

"This is a very nice, historic hotel in a nice town. The staff were polite and friendly. The room was very nicely decorated and very clean. The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars was because upon arrival I was informed the on-site restaurant was closed for an indeterminate time. My understanding was some dispute among between the Inn owner and the operator of the restaurant. Ok, things happen. But they should have emailed me ahead of time to let me know.
