Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"We used Le Mas des Boires as a home base for a family wedding (service in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, reception at Chateau des Boires). The property was beautiful with a wonderful outdoor garden, refreshing pool (although smaller than the picture), and well-appointed stately rooms with private bathrooms (we had two large side-by-side rooms with balconies that overlooked the property. We loved the historic charm of the building - huge manger in the dining room; stone walls, exposed wood beams, etc....

"Beautiful hotel with fantastic heated pool and gorgeous food served by friendly accommodating staff. Great value for money and the hotel is perfectly placed to discover the jewels of the Dordogne such as Perigueux and the cave paintings at Lascaux. The only slight issue is a bit of bliss from the road right behind the pool and the breakfast could have been better for the price. But great stay overall’ "

"The facilities are lovely. A charming French farmhouse and associated buildings. The bedroom was plain, no frills, more like a Motel 6 but with not as good plumbing. "

Fabulous dinner salad! Terrific breakfast with homemade treats and excellent fruit in variety. Wonderful pool with views. Not too large, so the staff can make personal recommendations—all seem to enjoy their work. Quite a marvelous and relaxing place!"

"I have stayed here before as it has a lovely pool ( nice to relax at after sightseeing) and is in walking distance to all amenities. The rooms are simple and clean with all you would want with the exception of a hook to put the shower head on, however works well when holding it by hand. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again."
