"Decent sized room considering that it was a "small double". Check in was stressful because I couldn't initially find the hotel's reservation number (not Expedia's confirmation number) and then even though I had prepaid, the self check in machine said I owed money. Apparently that's a glitch and it got resolved by checking in with the person at the bar (which is also the reception) but still stressful. "Loved Citybox! Hotel was clean and quiet and room was just the right size. Was traveling solo and never felt unsafe there. Was in a great location within walking distance to sites, food and shopping. Five minute walk to the train station. Highly recommend!!"

"Liked the room- clean and as advertised. Perfect to just crash while exploring Oslo. It wasn’t noisy at all given than construction is happening around the property. Plenty of food options nearby as well. "

"An easy walk from National Theater station which has express and regular trains to the airport; a couple of blocks (probably the closest hotel) the summer ferry to 'museum' (Bygdoy) island, where you'll want to spend all day for the array of world-class museums. "A really comfy hotel - nice cosy rooms, lovely soft bed (slept really well) and amazingly friendly staff (great level of customer service). The highlight was the included breakfast - breakfast included as standard in my experience has been quite basic, but here the breakfast spread is amazing, and certainly not budget-level. A real treat. I’d go back here in a heartbeat. Fantastic location for events at the Spektrum or Folketeateret."

"Hotel was nice. Reception staff were A+ polite, helpful and interested in how you were. Travelled alone with room appearing to be a large single rather than a double. It could also get quite noisy as i was on the main street above a bar. Breakfast was good but the hotel does suffer from a lack of bar. "
