"Hotel locked on arrival. No advance warning that reception was not staffed. Supposed to open at 3 so went back then. No one turned up. Called a number stuck on the door and eventually got instructions on how to enter via the back door using a key pad number. Pity nobody thought to email that in advance. All in all, a total shambles. A place to avoid."

"This is a great property and a must stay if you are visiting Rothenburg o.d. Tauber. Staff is excellent. Breakfast has several choices, including eggs cooked to order. We like beer and wine selections. You will not be disappointed if you stay at Landwehr Brau and Hotel. "

"Very easy to find as it's just across the road from the Ellwangen Hbf ( train station). All the basic facilities were there and the reception staff were friendly."
