"My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!"

Siamo stati accolti da personale gentile e disponibile, la cucina è semplice ma veramente ottima, le camere calde e pulite. "The hotel was dark, dreary with small, dark rooms, and few amenities. The walls were paper thin and you could hear children screaming in the halls and in the courtyard. The breathtaking scenery that had been promised could not be seen from the rooms. A change in room was no better. We had booked for two nights but left after two hours because of the appalling conditions and the noise."
