"This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."

But at breakfast Miguel reprimanded us twice for ordering coffees only for two of us and breakfast for our son although we received approval from the owner. "A lovely hotel in a stunning setting, staff were friendly and helpful & done us a nice meal. Just one small gripe - when I booked on Expedia it gave me the option to have twin beds. However, when we arrived we were informed that the hotel have no twin rooms, only doubles."
