"Convenient to the beach. The hotel room was overlooking the sea, which was beautiful. The furnishings were a little tired. Finding a spot to park was difficult even though they said parking was available, they never explained exactly where it was located which was in the back across a busy road and a very small, tight garage that was difficult to park in, very tight space. Initially the staff did not explain where to park and i had to drive around a one way system 4 times to finally see...

"We had a couple of nights here whilst bringing my son down to start uni at Falmouth. The hotel is set in its own grounds so feels like the countryside, but only a 25 minute walk into Falmouth centre which incidentally is a lovely place. The staff are very nice and friendly and happy to help, the room we had was good and clean, and the pool was a real treat, and as it’s open from 7am we were able to use it on our last day before having breakfast! "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room104 which was very comfortable and with a lovely outlook. Staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. Food was good. Would describe The Falmouth as " faded elegance". We understand that the new owners will be investing considerable time and funds into updating the premises which, if done sympathetically in line with the hotels' Victorian heritage, will be wonderful. "A lovely hotel, although in a residential area. Short walk to the sea. Wonderful surprise for my upgraded room. Only disappointment, I was unable to use the pool as it needed to be tested. I got up early to go for a walk before the pool opened at 7.30am. I got back at the hotel at 7.00am to have a coffee and get my swimming things to then be told the pool would not be opening until it had been tested, which would be around 9.00am. "We travelled as a family of three and really enjoyed that the beach, attractions and dining were all in a comfortable walking distance. The staff at the hotel were lovely and accommodating. Although there was building work going on nearby (not at the hotel itself) this didn’t disrupt our stay as work didn’t seem to start earlier than 8/8:30am. There was mould on the walls within two rooms which I was merely told happens due to the area they are located and they’d get the cleaner to sort. This never happened. "Really easy to check in even late at night. Our room was a twin & it was just big enough. Bathroom was clean & shower hot. The beds were so so comfy! Toiletries & tea & coffee in the room. Only negative was the view from the room was horrible but it is set amongst industrial estates etc so was not expecting a beautiful view but it was like scruffy wasteland and rooftops. "
