Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Moinho da Areia was an amazing place to stay on vacation. It was located on the beach so we had beautiful views. The property was in amazing condition and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and had a large selection of offerings. Everything about this stay was excellent. "

"The location was very convenient, and in a truly beautiful spot. The convent is a clean and beautiful place. The view from my room to the courtyard was very pretty, and the breakfast was good. The last day, two ladies even brought my breakfast to my room without me even asking- I thought that a very thoughtful gesture. "Emanuel is a really pleasant host, however it wasnt the quietest property, partly because the floors creaked everytime someone was walking and partly because some guests checked in pretty late. Overall a great way to get acquianted with island. "

"I enjoyed the feeling of having my own pad in Nordeste! The parking was super easy with quick access to the home. It was a bit chilly to use the pool but coming home to them every day was a nice experience. The interior of the home was functional and modern while upholding the charm of a Nordeste home. "We were told there was no air conditioning within the hotel but a/c was on @ breakfast but not in the rooms. Place is run down some rooms need a candle to see in the bathroom. Recommend 2nd floor if you may have difficulities lifting luggage up flight of stairs. "
