We finally got a number for emergencies and he gave us the code to the safe with our key. When we got to the place they had not prepared at all. The beds were not made, there was no soap or cleaning items to towels yet checkout required us to wash dishes. The electricity was also off so we had to find the electrical box. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, the dinner and breakfast they prepared were highest quality, and the room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Everything about our experience here was excellent and we would stay here again."

"Loved staying at this property. It has very few rooms so you will feel as if you have the entire property to yourself. The breakfast was made fresh and it was a great spread. It has a beautiful courtyard. The distance to the town center is 10 mins walk and there is a walkway from behind the hotel and goes up and meets the main road. "

"This was our second stay at this well located hotel in beautiful Castallane. The staff are super - helpful and welcoming. The facilities are good with a lovely pool and seating area, and the rooms comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent and being outdoors types having decent fruit, cereals and bread in addition to the normal continental fare was welcome - cooked is available too. A great hotel in a super town."

"Staff were friendly and welcoming however once we got to our rooms, they were very dim, we found a few spiders and the beds were not the most comfortable. Food selection was ok and you get wine included in your dinner if you go half board. We were also sent in the wrong directions for hiring paddle boats in Gorge du Verdon unfortunately. "
