"Hotel was nice. Room was large and comfortable with a lovely view. Breakfast was simple but appreciated. For some reason my hotels.com booking was not found by the receptionist when we checked in which was somewhat concerning. The night receptionist gave us two single rooms when we had booked one double. This became an issue when we were checking out as we were charged a higher amount than we had booked for. Eventually after much discussion it was resolved thankfully. I would stay here again. "

Der Eingangsbereich ist sehr modern und einladend gestaltet, der Zimmerbereich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und teils aus der Zeit gefallen (Flachspüler-Toiletten, Fernseher muss über zwei Remotes bedient werden). Zimmer war etwas kalt, aber ausreichend groß. Der Pool im Keller ist recht klein, sehr spartanisch gestaltet und entbehrt hinreichender Ablageflächen für mitgebrachte Gegenstände. Every word and toilet trip. 1am before I could sleep all the ear plugs in the world wouldn't help. If you are going to stay up late and enjoy the food then great place to stay If like me, you want to sleep so you are rested to go hiking, book another hotel. "

The hotel is flooded with light and has many homey touches throughout. Breakfast was basic, but sufficient. This was a good base for exploring the Southern Harz region. In Bad Sachsa I especially enjoyed Fannys schnitzel and waffle house restaurant, with nice views into the forest and friendly service. I also recommend the hiking trails above nearby...
