"Nice clean hotel, helpful and pleasant staff. Very nice rooms with fridge and comfortable beds. Bathroom stocked with all the necesities. Hot water with great water pressure in the shower. Excellence location. A few minutes walk to the plaza, cathedral, alcazar, aqueduct, restaurants. Buffet breakfast has a variety of meats, cheese, breads, cereals, yogurt, pastries, fruits, juices, tea, cofffee machine, warm eggs and BACON! Well worth the $10 euros. Our stay was very pleasant. "de the walled city of Avila. Parking a short distance away outside the wall. Walkable to everything including Convent of Saint Teresa, promenade along the wall and the Camino de Santiago was just behind the building. I highly recommend this place. Door is not manned until checkin at 3 pm."

Parking is not onsite, but there is a parking garage within close range. Avila involves walking up and down many hills and the parking is no exception. "I do not think I have ever had such awful and rude service in my life! Check-in ends SUPER early (8:30 pm) such a very inconvenience if you are coming from the Madrid train station very late at night. Apart from being more than 1 hour away from what it feels civilization is, rides can be costly (almost 100€). Very hard to get around this little town because it feels isolated from other places. If you are looking just to get away in the mountains in a peaceful, quiet place I would recommend it....
