"Very well located hotel, great for kids with a games console and a shuffleboard table. Good selection at breakfast. No tea or coffee or safe in the room. We got told off for drinking a can of lager in the seating area at hotel reception whilst the Norwegians on the next table who were doing the same didn’t. "Two night stay, Feb 2025 Overall had a great stay, the Hotel is warm and comfortable and the refurbished decor is lovely. The log burner in the lounge/bar area was lit every afternoon/evening and we always found a comfortable corner. "Great stay but a very basic hotel. No mini fridge or hot water kettle. Great views as long as the cruise ships are not in port. Check the schedule to make sure. "
