"This was a great location with friendly staff and amenities. Breakfast was simple but good. We were able to rent kayaks. Would definitely stay here again. However, there is another much nicer hotel located closer to the heart of town that has a much more affordable sauna (about $10 USD vs $40 USD per person) that has a better view and restaurant. Pricing between the two is comparable, so if the other location has availability it is a better option than this location."

Friendly cat brought us a "gift" after we arrived and kept the vermin away while we slept. Most excellent breakfast in the morning was a classic spread of Scandinavian "bread," which is bread, eggs, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, cereal, and much more, all serviced in the dining room with a view of the lake."
