"The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Great view from the balcony. Above all, the amazing hospitality of Fabric was outstanding - genuinely friendly, huge character. He generously recommended a shop where i could buy delices - and took the trouble to drew me a map of how to get there the following morning. "Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...

"Rustic Hotel, with reasonable charm. Food good. Wifi was so weak as to be unusable all the time I was there. The signal was fine, but it seemed that everyone else in the hotel must have been watching videos. It isn't free wifi, if you cannot use it!"

"Nicely decorated, very spacious, very clean and quiet room. Room had all the amenities. Jean-Paul and staff was very helpful and friendly. A couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Short driving distances to supermarket and downtown Haguenau. Easy access to highway towards Strasbourg or Germany."

Make sure you don't show up early for check-in as the doors are locked during certain parts of the day and only accessible with a key you receive when checking in.
