"We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. Especially as Germany won, it was loud until around midnight. Breakfast was ok"

"The staff were friendly but there is no reception desk , no check in with a person and no lift Also the hotel is not in a good location. It is on the outskirts of Speyer and you need a car to get into the town centre."

"Pleasant hotel in two parts - accommodation in second part which meant going outside to get breakfast etc. Room big with balcony, although road right outside it was not noisy. No air-con though. Breakfast good choice, cooked if you wanted it and meals in the hotel good too. Service a bit slow."

"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...

"My room was clean and a good size. It had a small fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. The best aspects of this hotel were the location, easy access to the hotel with individual code and the host/ owner. The owner went out of his way to help and I was able to leave my case in the room all day and pick it up on the ground floor."

"we booked the property based on the very appealing restaurant pictures. However the restaurant was closed and alternative dining options are very poor. We couldn't even order some hot coffee during the afternoon as all the machines were off. The village is ok(ish) but good luck using your card for paying, it seems they got stuck in 2015 as cash is the only option. The hotel's pool, spa and breakfast were good."
