"I had a very pleasant stay. Laura at reception went above and beyond and was very helpful as most everything around town is in Swedish. The hotel itself is fine, a bit dark as none of the rooms or common areas have windows. comfortable enough. You do have to walk rather far to get to the bathrooms. the saunas were under repair so unfortunately did not get to use them. hotel is centrally and conveniently located. "

"It's been the second time for us in Hotell Renen and we enjoyed every minute of the stay very much."

"The owner adjusted his schedule to accommodate our checkin. He was pleasant and informative. Because the hotel was not full he upgraded our room at no increased charge. Things like the conference room and the in room sauna were welcome. One of the best things for us was that Peter, the owner. let us use his garage to wax skis. While the location was scenic, it was also more difficult to get into town or to the ski trails and required taxi and bus transport."

"A charming, family-run hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Cross-country ski in and out, free parking on property, great facilities. We had a lovely one night stay here with a delicious locally-sourced dinner. Breakfast has good options and nothing is too much trouble. Recommended."

"This is it. The rustic inn is only accessible by a handsome Swede driving a snowmobile, who comes to pick you up at the car park, carting your luggage padded by reindeer pelts. (You can also easily walk to the cars, which is only about 1/4 mile downhill from the Inn.) You can hop on your skiis and glide down to the nearest ski lift, popping back in for a fantastic lunch. The food is really excellent. A full European (complimentary) breakfast with choice of egg temperatures, several types of ham,...

"Hotel TOTT i a classic place to stay in Åre. It'c conveniently located upp hill from the small city. You can take the lift directly from the hotel to ski, or walk down to the center in 5 minutes. It's a bit steep to walk back up again, but hey, it's the mountains. Tott is great for families with kids. The pool, gym and spa is spacey and nice. The food is good (make reservations ahead if you want to have dinner there in the nights) and the breakfast is great. 7/10 would recommend."
