"Uig Hotel was a fantastic place to stay, with friendly welcoming staff and amazing tasting food in the restaurant. Little to fault about the hotel, if anything rooms were too warm (stayed early November). I would be a little worried about young children staying in some of the rooms, given how easy it is to fully open up windows, but otherwise would highly recommend this hotel."

"This hotel did not disappoint. Martin was great and made sure check-in was flawless. Our room was incredible. It was very cute and clean. Our bathroom was massive as well. My spouse and I had lots of room to spread out during our stay. We highly recommend heading over to the restaurant next door (Seumas’ Bar). They had great gluten-free options. "Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts. They provided tourist information for the surrounding area sites, restaurants and shopping. Our room had everything we would possibly need and was thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was amazing and fuelled our hike up The Old Man of Storr in rain, 50mph winds and sideways hail. "Staying at Gleann an Ronnaich proved one of then highlights of my extended time in Scotland. The extra special touches made such a difference - a face-washer and shaving cream in the bathroom, very comfortable room & lounge area topped off by exquisitely crafted and cooked hot breakfast. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts, and close to town (Portree) too. Highly recommended!"
