"This place was totally not what we were expecting. It was right on the beach. Views from the balcony are awesome! The place was easy to find, just off M1 and a pretty straight shot from there. The staff (all we met anyway) were great, very accommodating and gave great service with a genuine smile and happy to help attitude. The food was gorgeous, kudos to the cooks. Portions are big so bring an appetite and the drinks taste lovely. I have recommended this place to anyone who will listen....

I had difficulty using the house key and shower controls due to my infamiliarity. All said I enjoyed my stay in Ballyboughal. "

Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus."
