"It was all about right for the price. The room was clean, even if the decorating was a bit tired. The mattress was VERY soft, and looked pretty new. Towels were thick and absorbent. The accomodation corridor had a ‘council-paying-for-overflow-long-term-housing’ vibe, and the rooms had tonnes of cabinet space with no apparent use, so I did wonder if this was a mixed-use venue. Lots of pub noise, but not enough to disturb sleep. "

"Staff were friendly on our arrival. Very comfortable bed and we had a lovely view. It was a very economical hotel for the budget conscious. Very clean, though the bathroom was tiny, the shower was fantastic. "

My only criticism would be the lack of blinds on the upper windows as the outside light came in this made it difficult to get to sleep. Also thicker, fluffier towels would be good."
