Same too with the hotel staff, real hardworking people doing their jobs and not the corporate avatars found in the big chain hotels."

"Hotel is close to the train station and the harbour. Some staff were helpful, others less so. Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The fitting for the hand shower was at waist height, meaning the only way to get a proper shower was to hold it above...

"Well-maintained hotel with an amazing view. We switched rooms; in one upgraded room, the bed is wonderful, while in the other, the bed is really uncomfortable. The host is not very welcoming, doing the bare minimum. A lovely place"
