Staff was very pleasant & helpfull especially chot as because i got there very early he was managing the front desk reception but took time out to get my room made up 1st after previous occupants left 12.00 midday. "I went to Kanchanaburi for a few days during a month long Thailand vacation and had a great time. The Glory Hotel was a great choice. Its staff was great. It was a very comfortable room and the location was quite good. I’d definitely stay there again. Breakfast was good and filling. "

"Room is run down. Has not been updated for at least 30 years western breakfast was stale bread. Thai food not much better. The bar at the pool has not been used for decades. "

"Pongphen guest house is amazing it sits right along the river so try to get a room with a river view as it's amazing the staff were friendly and it was in a good location to visit places and a 30 second walk and you are in the town where's there's bars and restaurants for stuff to do in the evening "

"Stay before when visiting the area the management and staff are amazing and friendly we stayed in the rooms on the river and for £10 a night can’t beat it for any bag packer /couples there are usually 3 rooms on each row the walls are made of bamboo so can hear neighbours talking the bedding is clean and have English toilets and shower is hot water and fresh towel the bed a little hard this is to stop mosquitos eating into the material food is ok good variety of like curries and simple snacks...

"We enjoyed our stay at Sky Resort. The good: Large room, large bed, several chairs and tables, nice view (of the pool and mountains in the distance) kind and helpful staff. The not so good: intermittent WiFi, hard pillows and a gang of loud barking dogs nearby."
