"After staying here for many years we were not advised there was no longer a restaurant in the hotel so had to find one at very short notice. There are still references to the non existing restaurant at the hotel so was a real shock and inconvenient as this is a major reason why we select hotels that a restaurant within them. We feel we should have been advised when we booked our stay and wec.f. would have found a different one with a restaurant."

"Beautiful hotel tucked away in the wine-making hills of Ockfen close to the Saar river. From the hotel we visited Trier which was a very nice experience. We visited during end of November, which is low season. The hotel itself is very well maintained, very beautiful, and the staff (like the people of the area) are all very friendly. There are play rooms and a sauna, so plenty of opportunities for relaxing. The hotel has a restaurant which is open to the public. Highly recommend visiting."

"The website picture of the balcony and view was saddly not the realty, neither was the impression of the room being in the hotel as we got a room in a house. The pillows were so bad, pankcake thin, woke up with sore neck. Staff were friendly, room was very clean.."

"Very clean hotel but old The biggest problem is absolutely no AIR CONDITIONING!!!! Inside the rooms is at least 50 degrease absolutely no air circulation even at night when the outside temperature dropped 14 degrees inside the rooms at least 50! Very uncomfortable!!!!!"

"Accommodation was excellent and in a good village location. However, staff are available at limited times only i.e. 4pm to 8pm and 7am to 11am. The village is very limited in terms of decent places to eat."

"Hotel needs work. Fridge broken, roller shade broken, dead plant im room. Bathroom has shower with wall floor to ceiling glass that commects to main room so anyone can see you in shower. Breakfest standard. Room also shows overall wear."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone! However, please be aware that the hotel does have very thick walls so Wi-Fi connectivity in the room is hit or miss; however, the do have comfortable chairs in the hallway with clear signal."
