"Very nice staff, booked this place very last minute! Booked 4 room like 5-10 mins before and showed up, they had the keys and room ready within 5mins! Very convenient and decent pricing. We went to Angkor bar on the beach, best food we had so far! "

"Amazing, going home and thinking how soon can I get back here? A small village and port but a great resort if you want to eat good food that’s reasonably priced and swim in the Gulf of Thailand all day long. Our villa faced the ocean and while I didn’t Actually count the steps it was so close from door to ocean and we loved it so much. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend GOLDEN BEACH RESORT. "

"We stayed here back in 01/2018 and went back 01/2025. This hotel is still a 10/10. The staffs were helpful, the breakfast was great, and the location is where you want to be. The tiny thing I dislike was the shower. The water would get all over the floor, poor design… I would go back and also recommend this hotel for all travelers. "

"We were picked up from the pier by hotel staff and were taken on a short walk on the beach to our hotel. We found our room clean and comfortable and were forever grateful for a perfectly working air con. All staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful at all times. "The resort is in a corner of paradise and the tree house was spectacular. The resort is quite tired and requires some updating but not too spoil the ambiance of the resort. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant food was ok. Beautiful beach and location for watching sun rise. Easy walks either side of the resort to other bars and restaurants. "

"The lobby areas is big and spacious. What missing is a great center piece. If they have one would make the hotel even more luxurious. The room is spacious. Bathroom is great, clean and well kept. What missing is a mirror in the room. It has a small one next to the sitting area. Maybe some room decor would elevate the hotel reputation. Also the balcony is empty, no chairs or table. Some small furniture and a couple of plants would definitely enhances the room."

"First of all, check-in was a crap shoot; NO communication, got lucky I hitched a ride with another guest who was having same problem, still was kinda left standing during check-in, otherwise no staff existing for any issues with the room, stained pullout couch, terrible working elevators, silverware was non-existing, no china for coffee, TV wasn't working, pool had no towels and the lounge chairs were bolted stuck in a seated position, no cushions either, property was very difficult to find,...

"This is a nice peaceful resort. Only 20 minute walk along beach to bars/restaurants. The Staff here are very helpful and pleasant. The beach in front is kept very clean by the resort. Breakfast good. Free use of kayak and paddleboard. We took a dome room on the beach. All the rooms have nice little patios. Good housekeeping. Would come back."

"The staff are lovely, Christina from housekeeping noticed I was a little sunburnt and brought in some aloe Vera for me without me asking and left it with us until we left, no charge, just thoughtful. Megan on the front desk was attentive and kind and Imre the manager and barman was always on hand if need be. To top it all the resident dogs are gorgeous. Over the Holidays they organized games in the restaurant to include everyone (I was solo and never felt left out). I even had a medical issue and the owner and a local pulled me aside and gave me some excellent and very timely information that saved me from some real problems. Beautiful Resort steps away from best swimming

"Amazing, going home and thinking how soon can I get back here? A small village and port but a great resort if you want to eat good food that’s reasonably priced and swim in the Gulf of Thailand all day long. Our villa faced the ocean and while I didn’t Actually count the steps it was so close from door to ocean and we loved it so much. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend GOLDEN BEACH RESORT. "
