The moving wrap around advert in the bar and restaurant isn’t nice at all and ruins the environment. The staff were lovely and it wasn’t clear that the parking would be an additional cost. "

"The hotel was easy to get to and park being at a motorway services. Receptionist was polite and helpful and the room was quite and comfortable. I was pleased that there was a bath as well as the shower. Many places don't have baths anymore. The room was a bit dated but everything worked and was clean. Very good value at a cheap price..."

Reception was welcoming and after hearing about a bad night at a national chain the night before they promptly sorted an upgrade of room for us - so kind. Breakfast was served in a sunny open room with lots of choices and cooked to order! A fabulous way to set you up for the day. "

This was a beautifully kept property, and so convenient for both the Hospital and for Taunton town centre. I am in a wheelchair, and although there was not a wheelchair accessible room available (it had already been booked), the staff found me a wonderful ground floor room that was totally suitable for my needs.
