The shower was perfect, could do with a shelf for shower gel etc and a few hooks for clothes/ towels. We didn't have breakfast. It's a 15 minute stroll to the town centre with lovely views on route , would definitely recommend. "

"On arrival service was spot on, the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only slight negative was the amount of time needed for hot water to reach the shower. My evening meal was good quality and reasonably priced, beer was good and the breakfast was also good quality and well cooked. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in the area. "

"The location was close to the harbour area and the room was lovely. The only downside was that the room was on the second floor of an old Victorian 3 storey house and the stairs were a feat in themselves. Also the parking was difficult to sort out as we had to drive to the tourist information building in the town down by the harbour. Once sorted, parking outside the property was easy. The main reception area was welcoming and had lots of complimentary breakfast cereals and hot drinks available....

"Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back. "

"Good stay for one night. No dining or breakfast on morning of departure but plenty of eating facilities in local town. No anti slip mats in bath when having shower"
