"We had a fabulous stay in Milan at Hotel Ideale. We visited for the Milan Marathon and the location was perfect for walking to the Centre/Duomo and the Castle....all of which are beautiful ❤️ The walk was about half an hour. The hotel, although from the outside looks a bit dated, was as we had expected from other reviews that we had read. The staff were so incredibly friendly, helpful and happy to help with any enquiries and there was always someone on the front desk. Our room was a fair size,...

Though I showed my reservation, the hotel indicated I had to call Expedia on the issue and did not offer to call or try to find out what happened. I got to my room which was tiny - even by Euro standards and had no window (well a tiny window way 10 feet up). A bit depressing all around. Luckily I was only there for 10 hours...."

"It was a nice room. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The biggest complaint to speak of is that the elevator is very slow. You literally can walk up faster to the top floor and back down before the elevator makes it to the 4th (top) floor. The walls could use some paint and a larger TV would be nice. Otherwise, a great stay. "

Thats all i need. Transport on the doorstep made this a great choice for us and a couple of great restaurants very close by"
