"This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. The lady on reception who checked us in was incredibly helpful- she helped us adjust our booking to make things easier during our stay as well as advised the easiest way to get to Chambord and gave us good dinner recommendations. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was functional but was on the small side. Breakfast had a good variety of items including breads, cheese/meats and eggs that you could cook to your liking. Incredibly conveniently located for the castle and walking into Blois town"

Buffet breakfast was good. You have to collect a hairdryer from reception if you need one so best to do that before you go to your room."
