The owner went above and Bryon to make sure I was comfortable with my choice of room and had all my breakfast favorites ready for me because I had a very early departure. "We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,...

"The room has everything you need. There’s a restaurant next door that has delicious food that you could easily overlook if there wasn’t a menu in the room recommending it. The longer your there the more you appreciate and adore the the place."

"The management was nice enough but did not address the issue of it being 100 degrees and no AC.They simply said... the listing said it didnt have AC but has fans. Well, it had one ceiling fan in the living room. The other two noise makers were tower fans one in each bdrm. One was as loud as a automobile and when we opened the windows desperate for cooler air, the road outside was just as loud. I called before and requested hey provide some relief with a portable AC ($80 at the hardware store)...

"It’s a very nice and cozy house in a quiet location. We saw deer walking around everyday. The owner replies message every quickly. No gap in communication. Everything is new, clean and well prepared. The house is decorated with all Christmas elements, even prepared a box for kids to make their own Christmas tree decorations. It’s about 40min driving distance to Dodge Ridge Ski resort. 15min to Twain Harte Grocery Market. Overall highly recommended."

"What a wonderful location on a hill with a stunning view all day the rooms were great and all the amenities were top knotch my were where a huge family ranging from grandkids to grandparents everyone had a blast and didnt want the weekend to end, futhermore the host were so kind and extremely helpful we will be lookimg foward to our next trip"
