"This is a gem of a hotel... absolutely silent, characterful, really comfortable and really well-appointed. The staff are so lovely. Sydney's public transport is excellent and there are many buses and the light rail very close by the hotel. Shops too are just round the corner. Superb!"

"This place was amazing. The room was spacious. The room amenities were excellent; they even had red towels for the beach. The staff were excellent. I would definitely stay here again. However, next time I would make sure to ask for a bathroom on the same floor as the bedroom. Not all the rooms have a bathroom on the same floor as the bedroom and it was a nightmare to climb stairs in the middle of the night before my bladder burst. lol. No accidents thank goodness. "The property is half way between Newtown & Oxford St, perfect for an easy uber to nightlife. It is near 100 resturants, like Turkish Pizza (loved Erysies!) or polish (great food, but i forgot the name). The hotel offers a heap of brekfast stuff at no charge, so that was awesome. The bathroom looked recently renovated, too. I thought it was going to be noisy on Cleaveland st, but it wasn't (the double windows work well). We even found a park out the front - Crown st loading zone - 15min 6 am to...

"It was excellent value in a great location, bus from airport stops at the door. Short stroll downhill to beach and spectacular coastal walks. Staff were super helpful and communal kitchen facilities were very good. Other guests were really respectful of each other. More wall hooks and a wall mirror in the living/sleeping area would help to get clothes and small bags off the floor. Study desk/side table and dining chair both needed repairs."
