"When we arrived, we were not greeted warmly, almost accusing us of not having a reservation. While we were searching, she took a phone call and said” ah yes ! Here you are!” There was no one else in the hotel- we arrived on our floor, the door was closed to the hallway we had to walk down. Lights would not turn on. The room was nothing more than a motel 6, but the view was spectacular. Went down to have a beer. Server was not friendly at all- said no English! Sadly he was our server for dinner....

We weren't disappointed. The rooms have been nicely updated, the staff are equally welcoming and the hotel, which is situated perfectly at the main junction into the town centre has superb views and retains a tasteful ambience.
