"The hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The a/c was not cool enough for August. The desk clerk arranged a taxi for us to dinner and the taxi returned exactly on time. The breakfast was very good and abundant. Comfortable bed and very nice clean bathroom. The city #1 bus leaves the train station and takes you to Agora bus stop directly in front of the hotel in a few minutes. Buy tickets in the train station bar. The bus does not run at night. "I didn't actually stay at Casa Leonori because they upgraded me to a room at Hotel Cenacolo, their `sister' hotel that is adjacent. (This was an upgrade from 3 to 4 stars.) I didn't see the rooms at Casa Leonori but the room at Hotel Cenacolo was nice, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"We stayed at Domus in connection with a conference. It's about 2km away from Assisi proper, a short bus ride or long walk to that amazing city. Domus offers more space at a reasonable price. There's a restaurant downstairs and a snack bar & gift shop in the spacious lobby, lots of tables and comfortable seating for groups."
