"I book this property because I needed an over night stay during my road trip through Portugal. My only regret not staying longer. Staff: Friendly, nice and very accommodating. Accommodations: the property has a unique design with a full service restaurant on the roof. The rooms are just pictured and surprisingly comfortable. Location: Central right by the bridge with shops and sights literally around the corner. Back to the food… I had one of the BEST shrimp dishes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m embarrassed to say it was so good I literally order two of them. Don’t let the concept of the hotel deter you. I had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "

"Safe, walkable, and very close to everything I wanted to walk to. The property sent me a code to enter the bldg the day before my arrival. I arrived at 1:30pm or so, and since my room was almost ready I was given the option to wait in the kitchen, which I did. Therevis no lift and my room was on the 2nd floor but staff always offered me a hand with my bag. Room was minimal but sufficient and efficient. AC worked and wifi worked. Hot water took awhile to get going but once it did the temp was nice. I feared street noise is a thing, but despite the square playing Xmas music and public parking so close, the noise surprisingly wasn't an issue. I slept for over 12 hrs on day 1(my first having traveled from the States). The wall between you and your next room is thin though and on day 2 unfortunately I had neighbors with explosive laughs waking me up between 1and 2 am, dropping a plate on the floor then going on to snoring. Well you always are at the grace of your neighbors. Overall I had a wonderful time in Coimbra and would return to this property."
