"Very convenient for old town with free on street parking opposite and also a payable private car park. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Standard room very quiet, but also very small, with a tiny shower room. Towels very small and thin, no tea or coffee facilities in the room or hotel outside of breakfast time except for purchasing at the bar. Breakfast adequate. Okay for overnight stop. "

"The hotel was great as it was situated perfectly to stroll into the village and there were great eateries close by. Would have been better if we had known that we needed to book in advance off street parking. Needs a little work done lie the wardrobe door was not opening and was off the rails. Just being picky overall a great stay"

"Booked this as a stopover on the way back to UK from Italy and boy did we fall lucky. We stayed in a lodge in the grounds and it was comfortable, clean and larger than we expected. However the highlight of our trip was the main building where there is a lovely bar with great staff and the outstanding restaurant. "Good little hotel for an overnight stay, great location, 10 min walk to station and town. 20 min drive from EuroTunnel. We didnt eat, but the cafe/bar area seemed popular. MultiStorey Car Park adjacent, £11.00 for 24 hours, safe and secure parking."
