"Excellent place to stay! The staff there was excellent! Although we had a bit of a language problem (my German is rusty and the staff did not speak much English) Our stay was wonderful. Great place to stay if you are heading to Herrenchiemsee or Frueninsel (I recommend both!). The cost was lower than staying in Prien. Parking in Gstadt was a short walk to the ferry. "Beautiful hotel at the end of a residential drive, in a picturesque town of the German Alps. Very walkable to the center of the small town, past cows quietly grazing with the mountains in the background. We reserved the suite and it was HUGE! There was a nice little kitchen, we went to the local grocery store and bought food to make our meals. There is also a very nice restaurant on site. "
