"The views are sensational, but only 1 plug socket on one side of bed, no bedside tables or lights, the set of stairs to get to the 1st floor rooms were like climbing mount Everest. However the staff were more then helpful. The rooms were cleaned ok, the railings on the balcony were filthy. My girlfriend had to clean. Only 1 chair on balcony. "We loved Bambuh Boutique! Small quiet property and the caretakers are very kind. Home cooked breakfast including home roasted coffee. Lovely big rooms and the AC worked well. Note that the location is not near anything and Chiang Rai in general is very spread out. We booked many Grabs to get around. Recommend hiring a driver for a day to see the temples, markets etc. "

"The Teak Gardens is a lovely place to stay in Chiang Kong. It’s a lovely property overlooking the Mekong River. Staff is kind and friendly, food was good. I stayed here for 10 days while doing a VISA run to Laos. My only small complaint was that the cafe did not have watermelon juice. lol…. The Onsen is nice touch and surprised to find. Would stay here again if ever in the area. "
