"The property was quite old and run down but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the resin I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 stars is that the price is not bad, and I believe most hotels in the area are similar. The onsen is good but also other hotels have them as well. I guess this is one of the most famous ones. "

"It’s brand new. Nothing is to be charged to the room. Everything in the building is separate entities. One restaurant was never open. Breakfast was cheapest hotel buffet I’ve seen, quality was above average, but worth the price. Air conditioning was off so the room was 80 Fahrenheit but they did bring a fan and we opened the 12th floor window for cool air. Very nice facility but left something to be desired. "The nearest train station is about 12~15 mins walk. It was raining and the staff called a taxi for me. Staff told me that some taxis were not willing to come because the destination was too near. Very nice and helpful staffs. Some staff do not speak English. It is advisable to have a translation app. "

"Old town has its’ charm. I only found out about the historical church & other sites the day I left… Too bad, will visit Gongju again one day…. Overall, it’s a good stay. There’s a laundry steamer in the room!! Jumbo size tv screen & game station set up. Nice touch! The hotel is a 8mins walking distance to Tourist information center by Gangsanseong Fortress!! Also can walk to both Nuryeong & Royal tombs, National museum as well as Hanuk village."
