"Excellent location, our front room was spotless with a bay window though the traffic was very noisy from early morning. Also a pity that, despite being told about my friend's gluten intolerance, no.attempt was made at breakfast or on the evening menu to accommodate. Only one staff member apologised each of the three mornings A good cafe opposite and the Co-Op saved her, "

"This was an overnight stay. It was easy to find and there was a convenient car park. Our host answered the door immediately and showed us up the room. It is a very old building with beams and sloping floors and has lots of character. The room was comfortable and warm. We had our evening meal in a pub called The Canon Inn in the village which was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay"

"The accessibility, location, house, restaurant and vegetable/fruit garden were excellent, and the internal and external staff were outstandingly pleasant, cheerful, polite and attentive. Our room, upgraded for us without our so asking, was roomy and well-appointed, but rather dark and sombre, so it made the many inside steps rather difficult to see, slightly dangerous for anyone without perfect vision. Overall, very much enjoyed."
