"The hotel delivered as promised. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. This old beauty has seen better days but still delivers. Obviously outdated as mentioned in other reviews but the staff was efficient and kind, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Heard a train once but otherwise quiet."

"The hotel is elegantly beautiful from the hardwood throughout, the extravagant dining room, and the cozy lounging areas. I love the castle-like exterior, too. The only issue we had was the noise level before 10 PM. There was a wedding on site with the reception in the party room one floor below ours. The music carried loudly into our space. There was absolutely NO SLEEPING until they were done. Fortunately, the event ended at 10 PM. I would recommend checking with the hotel if an event is...

"The staff here were very impressive. We were very well accomodated in a 1st floor room. It was very clean and nice. There was an ant issue but the staff was so great, took care if it immediately. Parking was great and even the coffee in the lobby was good. Location was excellent and central to all our events."
