"Really lovely place to stay. Central to all the sights to see in Ronda. Very nice lady greeted us at reception and showed us to our room. The staff had WhatsApped me a couple of days beforehand asking what time I’d arrive. Really useful to have the number as the reception isn’t manned 24 hours. Pity we couldn’t stay 2 nights as it was booked up when I realised we needed a second night. Pool looked good (although I didn’t swim). "This is a great place to stay in Ronda. It's a few km outside the city center, which means that it's quiet and there's free parking. Most of the places in the city charge for parking, often a lot. This hotel is a large mansion, situated in farm country, and it has an elegant vibe. Staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly Elena, who seems to do everything. Breakfast is good, but there's only one vegetarian option for dinner (a salad)."

"Improvement is needed to get the 4th star back, they do their best all ok price quality, except one thing. Bath is impossible because yhey économise on the water and have taken out all rooms all plugs, bath, lavabo plug, bidet plugs. Please provide the bath plugs back, is not the best way to economise. "

"Our room was out of service however the manager Jluis accommodated us at another property 10 minutes walk away. La Famalia Mijas was wonderful and definitely an upgrade from Opuntia. The only glich was breakfast on day two was unavailable as we had no access to the hotel. I can’t honestly rate the hotel as we never saw the rooms ,etc. however Jluis contacted us prior to arrival and handled accommodations marvously. "

"Firstly, the breakfast pastries are some of the best pastries I’ve had in my life. (And trust me when I say I’ve had many pastries before today) crisp on the outside, feather soft on the inside. Dinner in the hotels restaurant was delicious!! The lamb shoulder was recommended and did not disappoint. The staff were soooo helpful, gave excellent advice re the hike. Super kind and friendly.
