"Staff is great and you can have your clothes laundry for a small price. No complained, price is reasonable. In other words, you get what you paid for. "So this iconic spot rocks!! (Excuse the pun) the view and the beach cannot be beat, and the staff is outstanding in every respect. The restaurant is very good, which is a good thing, because there really isn’t a lot of other dinning options nearby. Still, limited dinning takes a back seat to the wonderful setting and relaxing vibe. Of course, this is all true, but you should be aware that if there is one hotel on the island that is a destination for day tourist, it is Mandalong Rock Resort....

"Avoid room 200a it's small, needs paint, walls in bath need bleached. AC, weak. Doesn't circulate well, a ceiling fan would alleviate. Needs electrical box cover next to bed, . And put outlet, a nightstand would be welcomed. Peek in room across as w was being cleaned. It seemed much nicer. Even with those fixed, unable to fix run size, and window in room just opens to hallway. workers friendly and helpful. "

"This is an old hotel, but glad I stayed. Had a front room, stunning view from the 5th floor out into the ocean. The view is even while sitting on the bed. Note: when you come out of the hotel, go right, past the pier, to where the six giant markets are, find the seafood, we bought lobster, crab, shrimp, then walk back the opposite direction, past the hotel, keep walking till you see all the little shops cooking food, they will cook your seafood for a very small price. "I’ve stayed at the Hidden, Hut’s probably five or six times in the last year and a half. The owners are very nice people very sociable. Super quiet Place comfortable rooms, air condition good Wi-Fi, and probably one of the best restaurants on the whole island"

We expected the small rooms (we got #4), but the airconditioner isnt working. ‘It must have run out of freon sir’, suggested the worker, but didnt do anything about it. "hotel is nice for the area and only that one can stay in there. but it is not very good standard, the bathroom is not equipped properly, the food is so so, there are cockroaches around, bed is very uncomfortable and linen was dirty and generally not that great place to stay any time. we had booking fro three nights however after first night we moved to Cebu, and left this unfortunate place to someone else :-) "
