"I wish I'd had more than one night to relax at this little gem of a hotel on a little gem of an island nation. The hotel arranged a taxi from DOM airport, and I was welcomed warmly and thoughtfully upon arrival. My particular needs were met with great care. "The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! "
