"A great hotel run by superb staff. Super friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again. A spacious area for parking is directly in front of the building with easy access to reception. It’s very dog friendly - some hotel’s accommodate dogs but are barely tolerant this isn’t one of them. There are tracks to walk from the door in beautiful countryside. The room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable and amenities similar to most hotels in this category. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of breads, meat, cheese and some fruit. All in all a great stay made more memorable by the fabulous staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it! "

The reception clerks were great; on arrival, on departure, and at all times in between. If we ever return to Poitiers we would hope to stay at Hotel Central. The only negative thing was the three idiots in the street shouting to each other at 3:00 AM, all three nights."

"The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."
