"This was a good value hotel with a good bar and breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfy.Staff very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking. We didnt eat here as chef was off but plenty of dining options in locality . This was my second visit. The only downside was the noise from the traffic . Will stay here again as its handy to visit"

The Banjo

"Well I cannot really give my impression of the room and hotel itselves, because I wasn't even in ! I made the reservation online about one month ago before my arrival, and I mentioned that I will arrived very late at night (between 11:30 pm and midnight, because my plane from Dublin landed at Liverpool airport at 11pm). I know that the last check in is around 7:30 pm so that's why I advised them in advance. The problem is... well nobody was here when I arrived in front of the Banjo : lights...

Explore relaxing Bootle: its bars, golf, football, and more!

Bandstand, Derby Park Derby Park was opened in 1895 on land given to the people of Bootle by Lord Derby, a typical example of an urban Victorian park with formal gardens, bandstand and lake (now children's play area). Recently renovated, this attractive little park is largely unknown other than by local residents.
