A very comfortable, quiet room that was really a small apartment with kitchen facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay without qualification. "

My room was small but attractively designed. It contained the features standard in pricier places, such as a hairdryer. What truly sets the place apart is the kind, caring staff. "Located on harbour but no sound can be heard in hotel. Foot passenger's check in at hotel for ferries. Room large and clean even if a little basic. Soap in holder as now the normal. Food provided in with price. Cake and coffee mid afternoon. Evening meal was very nice and plenty to eat. We left before breakfast so they packed a bag and left it for us in a fridge. The star of the show was the receptionist. Perfect English and very helpful and informative "

"On our first night we were given a small room instead of a larger room which we ordered. The staff corrected the problem the following day. Our stay was during a a few days of exceptionally warm weather and the rooms are not air conditioned and no fans were provided so we were a bit uncomfortable at night. The hotel should prepare for warmer with room fans in the future. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was exceptional. And the general vibe is great. "
