The receptionist gave us a street map on arrival and pointed out good areas for eating and where to avoid. "Located outside the core in a light industrial area there are a court of fast food places nearby. The hotel isn’t fancy but has everything you want for a good night’s sleep, with good onsite parking which is secured at night. "

"Hotel is a bit old and tired in places but is due to undergo modernisation. Ideal location and parking was a godsend even at 13 euro a night. Real shame that the spa was such an expensive extra charge - 29 euro for a swim and sauna for an hour was too much."

"Very spacious room with a little balcony overlooking the Main Street, which is full of restaurants, bars and shops. With the windows closed we couldn’t hear a sound so that was great at night. The room was very spacious but did not have a fridge nor an iron. Great location and a very secure set up. Staff were friendly enough and check in/out went smoothly. The hotel is close to walk to the different tasting rooms but is not very kid friendly. No playgrounds in the area."

Note that “Laundry Facility” means “Laundry Service” for a fee and not on-site coin op machines for guests. A very nice laundromat is close by. Even with that note, we’d stay here on another visit.
