"Lovely, historic building. Views from our room were bucolic and wonderful. The grounds were peaceful, pretty, and well maintained. On site restaurant fabulous! Beds, not so comfortable. Chose this hotel for all of the above and AC. The AC did not work which made sleeping in July a challenge for these Americans used to that amenity. Even though, I would recommend this hotel for the charm, staff, location, and restaurant."

"A hidden gem in the quiet town. The room was spacious and clean, The most comfortable bed and modern bath. Amazing breakfast - try homemade yogurt! Five star stay."

"No complaints at all. Staff were friendly, the place was clean, quiet, cool (not hot - end of July trip!), well priced, parking was easy and it had covid19 screens . The only very minor problem was with the room safe for which the instructions were in Italian (and we don't speak it!). 5 minutes 'playing' sorted that. "Beautiful view from front terrace of hillside area and castle. Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious and hotel restaurant serves delicious meal at very reasonable prices. Original plan was an overnight stopover en route but we extended our stay to 3 days. Highly recommended."
