"We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais. Lovely location and a really good restaurant,had a great meal. Like most hotels probably not quite enough staff but the service was very good and the people very nice"

"Although there seemed to be only one gent alone looking after the hotel, he was kind enough to go and search in the store cupboards for us to find us a baby bed which we were supposed to have requested in advance. Secure garage was very useful, with the door remotely operated from reception. A bit tired, and perhaps not in the best area of Calais, but didn’t seem too bad. Perfectly functional if you need a stop off before the ferry. "

"Booked this as a stopover on the way back to UK from Italy and boy did we fall lucky. We stayed in a lodge in the grounds and it was comfortable, clean and larger than we expected. However the highlight of our trip was the main building where there is a lovely bar with great staff and the outstanding restaurant. "We have stayed at the hotel before and enjoyed each stay. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable with a good shower. I take my own hairdryer now as the one in the bathroom is fixed and no real power but that is the only criticism. This visit they had run out of gluten free bread but I had some with me and they forgot to switch on the egg boiler so no eggs for breakfast today. The evening meal was delicious as usual and excellent value for money. We will be back! "

"Good quality budget hotel - breakfast very good except for awful coffee from a machine - which I have complained about all through this trip. Have the french lost pride in serving good coffee."

"Our 2nd stat at Hotel du Parc. We love it. A little dated around the edges but very clean and comfortable. Very spacious hotel eith large bedrooms. Dont expect the Ritz and you will love the relaxed and incredibly friendly vibe. We recommend it and already plan to go again. "
